They are designed with an adjustable closure, so there are no messy bows to fuss with or fall apart on you while you get on with your busy day -- or your lounging, as the case may be!

Adorn baby's feet at home, out on the town, at church, or at any festive occasion. Proportioned to fit babies tiny feet, these accessories are bound to make your cutie look extra adorable in any outfit! Just like the version for mom, these are hand-crocheted with a fine, delicate cotton. They can be enhanced with beads (at your request) but otherwise, they are bead-free with short ties so that they are baby-safe should they make their way into those inquisitive hands and mouths! Tie the laces in a simple bow behind, or cross and tie in front for an adjustable fit from newborn to way beyond.
Three sweet feminine styles: Baby Barefoots, Lacey-Toes and Daisy-Toes are perfect for your little girl. Sporty boys and girls are super cute in: Sporty-Toes (Basketball, Baseball, Soccer Ball or Football) and Monkey-Toes (sock monkey inspired design).

It’s fun to fancy up your feet! Wear Barefoot Sandals around the house, at yoga class, on the beach and poolside. To jazz up your everyday wardrobe they are great with ballet flats, a pair of pumps and even outdoor sandals.

Wear Your Barefoot Sandals are adjustable for a range of foot sizes!

1.      To enlarge the ankle loop, loosen the ‘sliding beads’ from the ‘end beads’ and gently pull the sides of the loop until it widens.

2.     Place the large loop over your foot until it rests around your ankle.

3.     Slide the toe loop over your 2nd toe.

4.     Gently pull the ‘end beads’ on each half of the ankle loop until it feels comfortably snug.

5.     Adjust the sliding beads forward. They will ‘lock in’ close to the end beads to keep the Barefoot Sandal secure!

Care Hand wash with mild soap and dry flat. Note: Chlorine will fade beads and cotton.

The Barefoot Sandals Story...

One day, the aesthetician in the salon above where I worked drew my attention to a poster in her office, an ad for pedicure products that showed a pair of crocheted adornments on a close-up of the model's feet. She knew I liked to crochet, and asked if I could make a pair. I was definitely up for the challenge! I refined the design to be more delicate than the ones I first saw by using a fine crochet cotton, then developed a unique sliding closure to keep it in place. I pictured something less cumbersome than the bow that tied up the ones in the picture, and the result was not only functional, but made use of decorative beads to add a bit more flair to the overall design. She loved the result and ordered several more pairs. I made a few for myself and started wearing them at yoga class, at the beach and around the house. Barefoot Sandals by BusyLizzy was born!
