Class Descriptions...AGILITY & ACTION – An energizing activity boost.
A class for all levels that includes light cardio combos, total body toning, balance & stretching. A chair, light weights, and a small fitness ball (or pillow) are used as assistance and resistance tools. Online set up: You'll need a sturdy chair, light hand weights (or a resistance band), and a small pillow or ball. BARRE & BALANCE – Total body ballet-inspired workout with an extra focus on balance. Work at the Ballet Barre increases the connection and function of core muscles and enhances strength throughout the body. In short, the body’s main foundation, support and equilibrium are given a total overhaul. Start with classic dance-inspired moves to develop posture and alignment, stir in light cardio, add elements of strength training, and garnish with a good dose of stretch for flexibility. It’s all you need to bring out your inner ballerina and feel the grace of a dancer! No equipment required. CORE & CONDITIONING – A focus on muscle strength, endurance, and core work. A light warm up is followed by toning and strengthening exercises that target a specific body area (rotating weekly). A healthy dose of abdomen and back work and a good stretch rounds out the conditioning workout. Online set up: You'll need a sturdy chair, light hand weights. FUN & FUNCTION – Maximum variety and tons of fun for strength, cardio, endurance, core & balance. Training to enhance the primary foundations of movement, flexibility and balance that help the human body function well does not have to be tedious! Enjoy this fun class that includes excerpts from fitness faves like kick-boxing, yoga, dance, tai chi, drumming, Pilates, weights, ballet barre and more. Bring light hand weights. A lightweight scarf and pair of drumsticks will be provided for in-studio classes. STRENGTH & STAMINA – Classic cardio conditioning and strength training. This is a non-choreographed, athletic style class. Timed cardio intervals are combined with agility, strength and endurance exercises. A combination of body-weight exercises, and sometimes fitness equipment (provided) is used to keep things fun and interesting! Bring light hand weights, or borrow from ours. |
